The Dance Gallery runs on a September - June annual season schedule (10 months). Registration is on a monthly or annual basis.
2019-2020 Rates
1 class per week: $90/month, $900/year
2 classes: $171/month, $1710/year
3 classes: $252/month, $2520/year
4 classes: $333/month, $3330/year
5+ classes: $414/month, $4140/year
Multi-class discount does not apply to invitation-only company classes.
Annual or bi-annual payment discount: a 5% discount is applied (at time of payment) when annual tuition is paid in full by August 31.
Classes that do not have a minimum number of four dancers registered may be cancelled.
Payment
Tuition is due on the first day of the month. Failure to pay by the eighth day of the month will result in a $15 late fee.
We require a credit card be kept on file. If tuition is not paid on time, the card will be charged along with a late fee. *There is a $5 fee for declined credit cards.
Any class dropped after the 15th of the month will result in a charge of 50% of the class fee for the upcoming month.
Monthly enrollments for classes automatically roll over into the following month. Any enrollment may be cancelled on the 15th of the prior month to avoid partial charge for the upcoming month.
Registration for 2019-20 classes is open.
All students who register for classes by February 28, 2020 will be invited to perform in our Annual Show (date TBD).
The Dance Gallery intends for its students and parents to strive to behave in a positive and constructive manner at all times. Please view our Code of Conduct.
Class Rules
Students must arrive early or on time to class.
No gum-chewing is permitted.
Hair must be neatly pulled off of face for each class.
Cell phones must be turned off during class and put away until class has ended.
Street shoes may not be worn in the studio.
Parents may wait in the waiting room quietly during class.
We are a nut-free facility. Students may not bring any snacks containing nuts.
Absences / Make-Up Classes
Please call or email the studio if your child will be absent.
Students are entitled to three makeup classes in the appropriate level. No refunds, deductions or credits will be made for cancellations or absences.
Students are not permitted to have more than three unexcused absences after February, classes will be preparing for our annual show.
The Dance Gallery is not required to provide makeup classes in the event of poor weather.
Drop-Off / Pick-Up
Parents must park in designated spaces for The Dance Gallery or metered spacing.
Students under the age of 10 must be picked up and dropped off by a parent inside the studio.

Students must adhere to the following class-specific dress code:
Pre-Ballet/Ballet/Pointe
Attire:
Pre-Ballet, Ballet I and II: Pink leotard and pink tights
Ballet III, IV, V and Teen Ballet: Dark color leotard (no bright colors) and pink tights
Ballet skirt, ballet sweater and leg warmers optional
Footwear: Pink ballet shoes
Hair: Pulled back neatly in a bun
Jazz/Contemporary/Tap/Theatre
Attire: Black leotards/tank tops, black leggings, dance pants or tights
Black shorts may be worn only if black or tan tights are underneath
Footwear:
Jazz and Theater: black or tan jazz shoes
Tap: black tap shoes for tap
Contemporary: no shoes are worn
Hair: Pulled up in a ponytail and away from the face
Creative Dance
Attire: Pink leotard and pink tights
Ballet skirt and small tutu optional
Footwear: Pink ballet shoes
Hair: Pulled up into a bun or ponytail little dancers
“Ballet-Tap”
Attire: Pink leotard and pink tights
Footwear: Pink ballet shoes and black tap shoes
Hair: Pulled back neatly in a bun
Hip Hop
Attire: Athletic (that is comfortable to dance in)
No crop tops or short shorts
Footwear: Sneakers (that are not worn outdoors)
Hair: pulled up in a ponytail and away from the face
Irish Dance
Attire: Black leggings, black tank-top or t-shirt
Footwear: Ghillies (soft Irish dance shoes)
Hair: pulled up in a ponytail and away from the face
Bollywood
Attire: Leggings and t-shirt
Footwear: No shoes are worn
Hair: pulled up in a ponytail and away from the face
All dance attire may be purchased at Repertoire Dance Shop, 65 Garth Road, Scarsdale.
