Each year in June, The Dance Gallery produces its Annual Show, in which all of our classes and performing troupes participate. The program is the culmination of what our students have learned over the year, with students dancing to original dances choreographed by our instructors. All students who register for classes by February 28, 2020 will be invited to perform.

Performances: Studio Company
The Dance Gallery Company, which features a junior, senior and brand new tap troupe, has performed at The Paul Taylor School, Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, the Cross County Center Holiday Spectacular and the Kat Wildish New York City Showcase.

Tap Company
DGNY is proud to announce the launch of their first ever Tap Company under the direction of Miss Kelly Buck.
Tap Company is going to explore varying styles of tap through learning and performing different pieces, ranging from Broadway style to hoofing. Our group of tappers is invite only and for dancers that are 12+, have been tapping for 2-3 years and demonstrate a strong artistry in rhythm and sound.

Each December, The Dance Gallery produces its performance of The Nutcracker ballet, featuring students enrolled in our ballet, pre-pointe and pointe classes.

Musical Theater
The Dance Gallery offers an introduction to musical theater class during our season and musical theater workshops throughout the year. Students will learn basic acting and musical theater performance techniques, as well as basic musical theater dance moves, all in a fun, age-appropriate way.
Our goal is to help our students develop confidence, courage and independence that comes with performing on stage and being part of a cast.
Students in musical theater classes practice a show piece from a famous musical, and their work culminates with a performance on a local stage.
