10 Installments:
Our program runs from September through June. Recital costumes and tickets are not included in the tuition because not all classes and students participate in the production.
New Semester Options Available
Installments must be paid by automatic debit or credit card. No cash or checks accepted. For monthly membership: Due upon registration, is a non-refundable 1st month’s installment, a non refundable June installment deposit and a $50 annual family non refundable registration fee. The deposit is automatically applied for June installment. June refunds not given for early withdrawal. $100 Drop Fee / Restaging Fee will be applied after Feb. 1, 2024.
Installments must be made by credit card only. A 3% processing fee for credit card payments will be applied. Any failed payment transaction is subject to a $30 fee.
Refund Policy : There are no refunds after October 12, 2023. If a class is dropped before October 12, 2023, you will be refunded, minus the classes taken, one month deposit and registration fee which is all non- refundable. If your dancer drops a class after October 12, 2023, you must notify the DGNY staff via email at info@thedancegallerny.com If no notification is given when dropping classes, YOU WILL BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ENTIRE INSTALMENT PAYMENT FOR 2023-2024 SESSION.
5% multi-class or sibling discount applied. Multi-class discount does not apply to invitation-only company classes.
Classes that do not have a minimum number of four dancers registered will be cancelled.
Freeze Policy - Members may put their membership on hold, in one-month increments, for up to three (3) months per dance year for a fee of $10 per month to hold class placement. Notice of freeze must be given to info@thedancegallerny.com at least 30 days prior to the first day of the month to be frozen. Upon return, there will be a reactivation fee of $25.00. Billing will resume automatically upon end of freeze.
Code of Conduct
The Dance Gallery intends for its students and parents to strive to behave in a positive and constructive manner at all times. Please view our Code of Conduct.
Class Rules
Students must arrive early or on time to class.
No gum-chewing is permitted.
Hair must be neatly pulled off of face for each class.
Cell phones must be turned off during class and put away until class has ended.
Street shoes may not be worn in the studio.
Parents may wait in the waiting room quietly during class.
We are a nut-free facility. Students may not bring any snacks containing nuts.
Absences / Make-Up Classes
Please call or email the studio if your child will be absent.
Students are entitled to two makeup classes in the appropriate level taken within 1 month of the missed class. No refunds, deductions or credits will be made for cancellations or absences.
Students are not permitted to have more than three unexcused absences after February, classes will be preparing for our annual show.
The Dance Gallery is not required to provide makeup classes in the event of poor weather.
Drop-Off / Pick-Up
Parents must park in designated spaces for The Dance Gallery or metered spacing.
Students under the age of 10 must be picked up and dropped off by a parent inside the studio.

Trial Classes
The Dance Gallery offers trial classes for dancers.
Whether you're brand new to DG and want to try any of our classes to see which one you like, or if you're already taking a class but are interested in a different one, taking a trial class with our instructors is the best way to experience what our studio has to offer.
